You should be asking a wedding videographer three

You should be asking a wedding videographer three things before booking!🫡

1. What is their style? If you really like light and airy colors and country music in the wedding films you watch, but book someone who only has dark and moody colors and indie music in their portfolio…chances you aren’t going to like your film. While yes, your wedding film will be catered to you, the style of it is up to the videographer. That’s a big part of what you’re paying them for, their art. There are sooo many options out there. Find someone who’s work resonates with you!

2. What is their turnaround time? This is different for each and every videographer out there, but you are going to want to know how long you’ll be waiting! I know different people who have a 8 month turnaround time, a 4 month turnaround, and only a 6 week turnaround time. I know from personal trial and error over the last few years on how long it takes me to edit and what my average turnaround time is, especially when personal things can happen. Knowing what your estimated turnaround time is will give you a peace of mind, and let your videographer do what they need to do to give you the best film possible!

3. What is important to them? I know for me, my films are people driven. That is important to me. I want you to feel like you personally know my couples, the love they have for each other, the people closest to them, etc. when watching their film. I promise that knowing what your videographer values in their films and making sure that aligns with what you value for your film will make all the difference.
