Brett and Zac wore every emotion on their sleeve on this day, and it was absolutely magical. The amount of love spilled out toward one another was palpable. The emotion their families displayed at the ceremony was enough to make anyone cry. What a joy to be able to do this for a living. Couples like Brett and Zac always remind me of what is most important on a wedding day. This is one of the most special weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing. From the very beginning, Brett and Zac made it very clear that they wanted their wedding to be lovely, emotional, fun, sunny & simply something that they could enjoy. I have built a strong relationship with Zac and Brett. Zac and I photographed and he filmed Andrew’s proposal in Chicago during the winter. He is a very close friend of Andrew for years. So for the proposal Andrew invited me to capture this moment and Zac was filming it. From that day, Zac and I became friends and a few years later, he asked me to photograph his wedding.

It was truly a perfect day, and I’m manifesting more weddings like this here. I honestly can’t tell you how much it truly means to me that this job of mine connects me to couples and allows me to work in so many beautiful places.

You can tell just by being around them that Brett and Zac are really passionate about loving each other and loving their people. Their whole wedding day just casually flowed from one part to the next, and absolutely everything happened on time,  everyone was having such much fun together and it was such a joyous day. For them, it was just a huge party with tons of family and friends involved.
